Here's what we know so far:

The 5th great All Hands CHIVO reunion

will be held October 14-18, 2009 (that's next year) at the Beach Cove Resort which is located right on the ocean front in North Myrtle Beach, SC.  In addition to being on a  beautiful sandy beach, at the Beach Cove Resort you'll enjoy a tropical ocean front poolscape with 3 heated outdoor pools and whirlpools, an indoor pool and whirlpool, a 350 ft lazy river, and even kiddie pools for the sonarmen.

To learn more about our reunion resort, visit their web site at http://www.beachcove.com

What more could an old salt ask for?

Well, the rooms all have refrigerators, microwaves, and free wireless Internet.  Is there more?  You bet!  The rooms all have private oceanfront balconies.  And if you fly into Myrtle Beach, Beach Cove provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport, so you won't need a rental car or taxi.

Bring the Family - Make it a Vacation

The Beach Cove Resort has agreed to extend our special room rates (based on availability) for early arrivals and / or late departures so that crew members and their families can make their visit to North Myrtle Beach a family vacation.

And what does it cost?

The price is the good news.  The one bedroom condo is only $69 night (plus taxes & resort fees), and the two bedroom condo is just $98 night (plus taxes & resort fees).  We have a block of rooms reserved for our reunion, but don't wait!

Make your reservations now by calling toll free to 1-800-331-6533 and be sure to tell them that you are with the Chivo reunion Group.

Our reunion is scheduled for 14-18 October 2009, but the Beach Cove is willing to extend these special rates (based on availability) for early arrivals and / or late departures, so that crew members and their families can make their visit to North Myrtle Beach a whole family vacation.

You can learn more about area attractions  by visiting the Myrtle Beach web site at http://www.mbchamber.com.
Our 2009 Reunion Planners, Don Morris 63-66 and Jim Dodd 64-66, are currently researching tours and exciting new reunion activities.  Stay tuned for more information.
